We are under the instruction of Grandmaster James E. Smith. He has over 50 years of experience in martial arts. Our foundational style is Chinese Kenpo. We teach traditional weapons such as bo staff, broad sword and escrima sticks that are included in the curriculum. We participate in karate tournaments and demonstrations throughout Texas. Ladies Low Impact Aerobics

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | 8:30-9:30am

Low Impact Aerobics is a cardiovascular exercise that elevates the heart rate, but is low impact on your joints. Sculpting and weights are also supplemented in this hour long session. Best deal around! No contract or sign up fees. Get fit and enjoy the fellowship with our instructor, Bobbie Butler, who has over 30 years experience. Zumba

Ditch the boring workout routine and try Zumba. Experience the most exciting workout while you achieve your fitness goals. Zumba is a cardio exercise class that combines dance and fitness moves for all shapes and sizes. It is taught through visual cues which means that you don’t have to be a dancer to join the fun. Super Stars | Ages 11 - 15 | 11am | $60/session | 45 min

This class uses the Quick Start Program to develop the proper fundamentals and techniques of tennis. Fun games and drills will reinforce agility and footwork as well as enhance hand-eye coordination. Volleytots

Lindsey Freeman brings her volleyball expertise to kids with her fun, exciting program Volleytots. Participants will learn the foundation of the game that will cultivate the highest possible level of success in every player. For more information email lfreeman@dpisd.org.

Fencing Beginners Foil

Tuesdays | Community Center | Room 6

Ages 13 and up | 6:30pm | $45/month

Ages 8-12 | 7:30pm | $45/month

Fencing for the teen and adult fencer, both beginners and those with some experience. Our focus is largely on foil, but sabre and epee are also explored. We learn the basics of footwork and blade work, have open fencing and self-referee. The final class of each month is given over to electric fencing just as a fencer would experience at a local tournament. No personal equipment or prior experience is required to start. Open Play Pickleball
