Through a combination of skill development, games, team competitions and contests, Coach Deb and staff will ensure your daughter or son have fun and improve their game. Fundamentals will be stressed daily. Our goal is to provide quality instruction and excellent coaching to ensure that each camper has a positive experience. No matter what your skill or experience level, take your game to the next level at our camp! Coach Deb Taylor has 14 years of high school varsity head coaching experience. She led Archbishop Spalding to the prestigious IAAM A-Conference Championship and a #1 ranking in 2002, in addition to being one of the top 15 programs in the Baltimore Metro Area throughout her coaching career. Many of Coach Deb's players have gone on to play in college and she has coached several league and county all-stars and 2 Players of the Year. Coach Deb played at the University of Vermont and was the all-time assists leader. Formerly “SuperHoops Full Day Basketball Camp,” this full-day basketball experience has certified Howard County Recreation & Parks (HCRP) basketball coaches will provide players with all the Meadowbrook Basketball League (MBL) has to offer in a one week camp. The MBL is HCRP’s recreational basketball league for players of all ability levels that operate spring, fall and winter. Throughout the week, experienced coaches will use a variety of creative drills, challenging exercises, exciting games, scrimmages and many other activities to help you elevate your game. Special emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship and teamwork. Campers will learn, develop and implement offensive and defensive skills, participate in competitions, games and film sessions while being broken into teams to play a mini-league schedule and end of camp tournament. Each day, teams will play league games after the day's lesson on fundamentals. Players will receive a team jersey. There will be down time during lunch and video sessions. We put the fun in FUNdamentals. You will improve your basic or intermediate basketball skills in this camp. Experienced, highly trained staff from Epic Brands teach creative dances, cheers, partner stunts, sidelines, proper safety, techniques and more!
