DP Architects continues its support for the Challenge for the Urban & Built Environment (CUBE) Student Workshop 2015, an annual programme for Pre-University students organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. DPA, a supporter of CUBE’s aim to inspire the next generation of architects and urban planners, has been a contributor since 2013, both as a sponsor and facilitator. DP Architects’ senior associate director Ng San Son and architectural associate Chio Wen Tian participated in this year’s workshop as mentors to the students in the four-day programme. The mentors helped the students understand key urban design and planning concepts, and guided them to produce the workshop deliverables. This year’s edition ran from 17 to 20 November and saw a record of 15 participating schools with over 20 architect-facilitators.
