![]()
2. Induction session programme
House orientation - Continued introduction to House, School and key events - Other boarding matters - A review
3. Downe House DNA
1. Bring a mattress topper for extra comfort!
2. Bring big storage bags/containers; these are very helpful for when you need to move dorms each term. The boxes can also be useful for creating shelves in your wardrobe.
3. Bring a big winter coat as it is freezing in the winter!
4. For international students: don’t bring too much stuff as it can easily be ordered via Amazon and it saves packing space and weight in your suitcase.
5. Bring some of your favourite foods and snacks from home.
6. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs if noise and light affect your sleep.
7. Slides or flip-flops are useful for the showers.
Prioritise the quiet times during the school day – get prep and work done during the School day so you can have fun and socialise in the evenings and weekends!
