Dorothy Circus Gallery

Dorothy Circus Gallery is a space dedicated to the American Pop Surrealism movement and to the new tendencies of Contemporary Art characterized by pop culture and surreal iconography. Opened in Rome in 2007, the Gallery was born “on the boundaries between New York and Wonderland”, and has the merit of having brought for the first time on scenes of Italian contemporary art, artists such as Jonathan Viner, Ron English, Sas and Colin Christian, Camille Rose Garcia, Alex Gross, Joe Sorren, Tara Mc Pherson, James Jean, Travis Louie and many others. On 2011 the Gallery opened its new venue at the historical center of town, raising its curtain again on a prestigious program dedicated to international Pop Surrealism. It is also thanks to its wonderful venue in the heart of Rome that D.C.G. confirms itself as an ideal location to host the surreal mood of this seductive artistic current.
