I would like to extend a warm welcome to our guests today at the Big Field, Blackheath RFC. They arrive on the final day of the season not only as deserved Champions of National 2 East, but as one of the oldest “Clubs” in the world and first time visitors to Dorking.

Our opening match at Blackheath back in September seems a long time ago! With the experience we have gained across the whole season, we are looking forward to a tough game today in which we can benchmark ourselves against the top side and start preparing for the new season.

I would like to thank all of our invaluable sponsors and volunteers who have supported the club so well, enabling the Senior sides and all our Youth sections to perform so strongly this year.

Finally, on behalf of all the Club. I would like to thank Armand, all the coaches and especially all the players for their considerable efforts and commitment this year. You have collectively performed wonderfully and provided quality rugby, much enjoyment and entertainment for us all. Thank you.
