How to Fix Lines on the TV Screen? The LCD screens on laptops, monitors and televisions consist of two thin layers of glass that contain liquid crystal material between them. When the glass is damaged, the debris infiltrate the glass layer or another problem occurs with the display function, this causes vertical lines of color to appear when the monitor is fully illuminated. These lines are permanent due to internal or temporary failures due to faulty screen connections. The television has vertical colored lines on the screen. This is a common problem with many televisions. Vertical colored lines are usually shown on a TV screen when the T-Con board does not work properly. Many times this can simply be caused by wiring that is not properly attached. Other times, the T-Con board itself may be defective and must be replaced. When a TV shows vertical colored lines, the cause could be a loose cable on the TV. If you touch the back of the TV, the vertical colored lines may disappear temporarily. This is a sign that a cable is loose or that the T-Con board is defective.

If you experience a TV that shows vertical colored lines, try to play gently in different areas on the back of the TV, you can see that the vertical colored lines disappear completely or may decrease their intensity.
