Do it yourself pumpkin painting

Step 1. Choose your materials and begin to draw an outline of the pumpkin

Step 2. Draw the stem and leaf details

Step 3 Choose your colors and gather your paints Start by adding paint to the canvas to fill in the background I choose 2 shades of brown.

Step 4. Blend the brown and white paints around the pumpkin, filling in the bottom half of the background I made this half lighter in color

Step 5. blend the brown, white, and black paints together around the top half of the painting making it a darker hue

Step 6 paint the pumpkin a light orange color You can begin to fill in the eyes and nose with black paint,

Step 7 Color in stem with a tan color and leaf with a light green Take a darker orange and. go over the lines in the pumpkin to give it some dimension and form,

Step 8 Addthe final touches by going over the eyes, nose, and mouth with black Add some darker green lines on the leaf and stem Place a lighter line around the eyes and mouth to get a 3D effect and lastly, trace over any lines or add highlights & shadows.
