In this age of technology, it is more important than ever to take a step back and create space for soul deep breaths. Sometimes we need to coil into ourselves and just be quiet, to hear our own internal dialogue, because the murmurs of our soul are easily drowned out in noise and crowd. I believe when we pause and experience silence, we discover answers that activity does not have time to reveal. Getting away for a while, being quiet and alone is no special grace on its own; we can do this by intentionally creating moments of quiet.
