I didn't know who K Bensimon was, but I like her, I've also always been a fan of Elle: Mr Bensimon has good taste, lol! Also I like Aerin Lauder: she's always so natural, never over dressed and with very little makeup, which appears odd considering her job: my kind of gal!!

Many people come to the thread for the photos and style inspiration. And then there are often pages of comments on things like how Tom Cruise wouldn't have let Katie Holmes leave the house in that outfit or why Ryan Giggs's wife stays with him. And it spirals from there.

What exactly are people learning from comments about why someone isn't wearing a bra? That good undergarments are a must? Some comments are fine but in the old thread there were often pages of criticism about what someone is wearing or should have been wearing, why they dont "deserve" to own or wear what they have, their personal habits and failures, etc. It turned into random gossip and chat on a regular basis.

Still off-topic: I remain confused as to why off-hand comments about insanely wealthy and socially advantaged people who actively court public attention and whom we don't know should offend any reader of this thread. Or why, if someone is (inexplicably) offended, s/he can't just ignore the posts in question. Further, if tPFers DO know some of the folks discussed here, one heads-up remark ("Er, she's a pal" or even "Hey, I wore that same thing yesterday!") would shut us up. them often. Gold must be her favourite. I'm a big fan of hers- great personality, perfect make-up and Im loving her style the last 4 years. I always look to see what she is wearing and she doesnt get it right all he time like this all White combo. I'm not a fan at all but it's summer so I'll let it slide
