EXPERIENCE British Racing Company-Designer Sept 2014 Whilst working for the British racing company I have been required to design and manufacture a whole outfit including an accessory. I was given a brief of requirements and necessary items they needed included. I was expected to meet with buyers as well as pitch my design ideas. Working for the British Racing Company helped me with mastering many tasks including designing and manufacturing garments, Photography, illustration and Photoshop, creating prototypes with specialist finishes. I also had to research into blogs and other companies to show recent trends and what is up and coming in the industry.
All Things Candy-Sales Assistant Sept 2012- Sept 2013 My time with the all things candy team taught me how presentation is always key within everything you do. If it doesn’t look the part then it is more than likely not the best of your ability. My duties within in the shop were to serve customers and help with large orders. The orders are large handmade bouquets/ trees made of sweets. This required a lot of patience in order to master each piece made as well as visual preference.
Browns Newsagents – Sales Assistant Sept 2011- Sept 2012 My time with the shop has taught me many things including that a tidy workspace means a tidy mind. My main duties in the shop where to assist with serving customers, clean counters and the workspaces, handling money from the customers and ordering and stocking fridges, jars and shelves. I had to complete safety requirements within the shop to ensure the safety of others.
