At Korowa we want our students to be happy, self-aware, confident and capable young women, who graduate understanding their responsibility and capacity to influence the world in a positive way.

A leader in education since 1890, Korowa is renowned for its academic excellence, broad range of opportunities and nurturing community. Our VCE results consistently place us among the top schools in the state, but our girls are far more than an ATAR. They leave Korowa having achieved so much more, from their participation in the many co-curricular activities and service, to the leadership they have demonstrated, particularly to our younger students.

Built on the tradition of a broad-based liberal education, we continue to be agile and responsive to the new times in which we live. We recognise that our young people want to be prepared for an increasingly complex and challenging world future. They are curious and relentless in the pursuit of knowledge and want to make real connections between school and life.

Across the school, the core curriculum content is taught in traditional subject domains, but with an integrated and practical application incorporating the 21st-century skills of creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication. Our focus is on character education, mastery of skills and producing high quality work rather than test taking as we seek to make feedback relevant and meaningful.
