This picturesque French marine reserve boasts turquoise waters and a protected coral reef that is a fragile and battered ecosystem. The hotel’s recent redesign took sustainable practices and climate change into consideration: There are new solar panels, energy efficient upgrades, in addition to new water systems that desalinate ocean water, use it in the hotel, and around the grounds.
