The acid resistant stainless steel, AISI 316, construction provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, extending the lifespan of the pump and reducing maintenance requirements.

Only the actual pump housing is made of AISI 316, while the motor is isolated from direct contact with the liquid.

The MPTKR-I pump is designed to handle the production of fish silage. Its efficient knife system effectively breaks down fish waste, ensuring optimal mixing and homogenization.

Recirculation Pump

Model AXP-I

Landia propeller pumps are engineered to efficiently circulate large volumes of water at low back pressure, making them an ideal choice for recirculation systems in recirculated aquaculture systems.

The recirculation pumps can be mounted directly on the tank wall, providing a straightforward installation process. Additionally, if required, the Landia recirculation pumps can also be mounted within a pipe system.

The recirculation pump will typically be mounted directly on the tank wall. If needed, it can also be mounted in a pipe system.

The material of construction for the Landia recirculation pump is either cast iron or acid resistant stainless steel, AISI 316.

The long-shaft MPFR-I pump is an integrated part of a Landia BioChop Fish Ensiler. This powerful pump efficiently handles fish up to approximately 10 kg without the requirement of pregrinding, saving you valuable time and resources.

From maceration to mixing and pumping, the MPFR-I pump can manage the entire silage process, ensuring a smooth and continuous workflow.

The robust design of the MPFR-I eliminates the need for seals or oil chambers, resulting in minimal maintenance requirements.

POP-I & POPR-I

With its low speed and exceptional performance, the submersible POP-I 300 rpm mixer is the ideal choice for applications requiring efficient mixing.

As an alternative to the submersible POP-I mixer we offer the side-entry POPTR-I. The capability and efficiency is comparable to the submersible mixer however the motor is isolated from direct contact with the liquid.

The material of construction for the Landia POPTR-I is acid resistant stainless steel, AISI 316, for all wetted parts.

Land-Based Fish Farming in the Faroe Islands

Location:

The land-based fish farming facility is situated in the scenic Faroe Islands.

Operational Setup:

The facility is designed to receive dead fish from two different locations.

A dedicated land-base setup ensures efficient processing and handling of the fish.

BioChop Production Tank:

The facility boasts a 5.0 m³ BioChop production tank, delivered as a convenient Plug & Play solution.

The tank is specifically designed for bioconversion processes, enabling the efficient breakdown of organic matter.

Currently, the company has four (4) 5.0 m³ Landia BioChop tanks. These tanks play a crucial role in the bioconversion process, facilitating the decomposition of organic waste materials.

Silage Plant for Pelagic Fish, Poland

The silage plant in Poland has been dimensioned to handle a capacity of up to 200 tonnes of fish waste per day.

The plant features isolated production tanks. In addition to the production tanks, the facility has so called day tanks for the final processing of the fish waste.

Finally, two storage tanks has been established in order to optimize the logistics.

The tanks are equipped with Landia chopper pumps and mixers for efficient processing of the fish silage.

Faroese Factory's Trawler Akraberg

In September 2016, Landia supplied a Faroese factory's trawler Akraberg with chopper pumps and mixers for their new integrated silage plant. The plant enables the production of fish silage.

Landia delivered three submerged stainless chopper pumps, designed to effectively break down the by-products from the trawler's factory.

Additionally, a stainless mixer was provided to maintain homogeneity in the silage tanks, ensuring high-quality production.

Smolt Plant, Scotland

This smolt plant in Scotland is a land-based facility specifically designed for smolt production.

Fish silage is produced from dead fish that enters the Landia BioChop ensiler by means of a Busch vacuum system. Finally, it ends up in the 15 m³ storage tank.

The entire system was delivered as a plug and play system.

Aquaculture

The optimal use of chopper pumps and mixers

Landia mixers are used for mixing silage, sludge, and reducing sedimentation in buffer tanks after filters and blood water tanks.

In addition, Landia’s mixers can be used in many production tanks of silage on ships, emergency tanks and at abattoirs for optimizing silage capacity. We can also supply the mixers made from acidproof steel.

Enhance Fish Welfare and Optimize Growth at Sashimi Royals' Hanstholm Facility

Four Landia flowmakers has been installed at Sashimi Royals' state-of-the-art growout facility in Hanstholm, Denmark.

The flowmakers are installed to help with a constant velocity and secure the best welfare for the fish. Since they are not at the ocean, here they will have a current to swim against which can positive contribute to their growth and also meat quality. Facts
