The Masters of Social Work program at Fort Hays State University provides a high quality, affordable solution to the demand for clinical social workers in Kansas and beyond. The FHSU Masters of Social Work (MSW) program specializes in Clinical Social Work and is designed to improve access to health and mental health care for residents in underserved areas. There is an acute and unmet need for social workers at the Master's level and higher across Kansas. The Clinical MSW Program at FHSU takes advantage of the flexibility and outreach aspects of online education while maintaining a strong "hands-on" clinical training emphasis. The program features several innovative strategies to educate practitioners, utilizing the advantages of delivering coursework online, while infusing robust face to face clinical training. Since the program coursework is completed entirely online, it is accessible from wherever students might live.
