From Indiana, Laura was inspired to direct after working on her first two short films, Duke and She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not. She is also attracted to art direction and was the production designer for Less to Pack. After graduating Laura will move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in filmmaking.

Aida is a Kazakh woman pursuing the American dream. She moves to Los Angeles where instead of moving into an apartment near the hospitality job she is anticipating, she is escorted to a suburban home. Dismissing the confusion as a cultural misunderstanding, she soon discovers the harsh reality--that she was brought to the United States to work in a sex trafficking ring. She befriends one of her counterparts, an elevenyear-old Russian girl and convinces her that they must escape. They begin to plot their getaway.

Trent McGee grew up just twenty minutes from Chapman University in Irvine, Calif.. As a child, Trent visited Chapman to watch his older sister dance in Memorial Hall. Little did he know that one day he would be a graduate of Chapman University. At seven years of age, Trent was in a serious car accident that left him a quadriplegic. Shortly after the accident, Jane Seymour and James Keach befriended Trent. These two individuals encouraged him to go into the film industry saying, “There is nothing I do that you can’t do.” This seed they planted took many years to germinate, but today that seed is beginning to bloom.
