Chuckles From Down Under
By: Jane Sullivan, Bell Veterinary Services
A four-year-old boy had a disagreement with his father and decided he was going to leave home. He packed up his teddy, pillow and piggy bank and headed for the front door. As he was about to leave, his dad asked him some questions:
“What are you going to do when your clothes get dirty?”
The little boy answered, “Come home so Mummy can wash them.”
“What are you going to do when you get hungry?”
The little boy answered, “Come home and Mummy will cook me something.”
“What are you going to do when your money runs out?”
The little boy answered, “Come home and Mummy will give me some more.”
At this the father said, “Hang on a minute. You’re not leaving home. You’re going to a university, aren’t you?”
