UNIFORM POLICY 2026-2027
OUR PHILOSOPHY Christian Crossroads Academy is committed to a uniform clothing policy for its students, recognizing that humans are both physical and spiritual beings made in the image of God. The way students dress is an expression of stewardship of their bodies and regard for others. Uniforms eliminate subjective standards of dress, ensure modesty, and allows the school to focus on academics instead of attire. Our uniform policy exists to foster: A respectful and focused learning environment Humility and modesty Reduction of peer pressure and social stratification Sense of identity and unity
BASIC GUIDELINES Dress neatly Be clean Comply with the uniform policy The school administration will determine if there is a violation, either in fact or attitude. Students not complying with the uniform policy will be required to rectify their appearance as quickly as possible. Special days may be scheduled, such as dress up days or Spirit Week, during which other clothing options are allowed.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS Each CCA student is required to have two types of uniforms for specific days: Regular Dress Uniforms: Worn Mondays -Thursdays Casual Days: For PE and other days, as announced Apparel: Students clothing must be clean, free of holes or tears and appropriately sized. No visible undergarments. Girls’ skirts and dresses must reach the top of the knee. Girls must wear tights/leggings or (biker) modesty shorts under their dresses or skirts. Leggings may not be worn as pants. Shorts must extend beyond the fingertips when arms are at rest. Hair & Accessories: Students will keep their hair neat, clean and well-groomed. No visible tattoos are allowed. If a watch becomes a distraction, the teacher may require that it be removed.
PURCHASING INFORMATION We hope that our uniforms can save families both and time and money. By deemphasizing the social impact of dress, the uniform helps focus the students on character and academic issues. It strives to level the playing field for every student, regardless of economic context. Uniforms may be purchased several ways. French Toast has available items under the CCA storefront. You can also can purchase most of the items on Amazon, Target, Old Navy and similar retailers.* When purchasing from an outside retailer, please consult the images we have provided to ensure continuity. Embroidery: CCA will coordinate regular opportunities for embroidering logos on pre-purchased shirts. An email will be sent out prior to the beginning of the school year with more information.
