Uniform Philosophy
The uniform policy at Telos Academy is driven by a desire to create and promote an environment of learning where dress is not a distraction to the educational process We recognize that humans are both physical and spiritual beings made in the image of God, and the way we dress is an expression of stewardship of our bodies and regard for others
Our uniform policy exists to foster:

Gentlemen
Hair must be a natural color, clean and neatly groomed, above the collar
Watches and Christian themed necklaces are the only jewelry allowed for boys. Shorts must be no shorter than 3" above the knee.
Hats or hoodies may not be worn in the building.
Oxford shirts must be tucked in Polo shirts are not required to be tucked in Coats must be removed in class Navy microfleece jackets purchased from French Toast are acceptable in class
Ladies
Hair must be a natural color, clean and neatly groomed
Earrings are allowed, as long as they are modest and not distracting Watches and Christian themed necklaces are acceptable. No body piercing jewelry.
Skirts and shorts must be no more than 3" above the knee.
Oxford shirts or dress shirts must be tucked in Polo shirts are not required to be tucked in Primary Students: no makeup or artificial nails
Secondary Students: modest makeup is acceptable, nail polish is permitted in neutral or traditional tones (such as clear, beige, rose, red, or French manicures) that complement the school uniform.
If accessories or make up become a distraction the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed
Coats must be removed in class Navy microfleece jackets purchased from French Toast are acceptable in class
