The annual tuition is established in reference to what it actually costs to educate a child. We are establishing SJCS with great hopes for our inaugural year, but also with an eye to the future. It is our intent that

by God’s grace and with His blessing, the school will exist for decades to come, which is why we must establish our tuition price with sustainability in view.

The St. John Chrysostom School has been founded out of love for the children of our church and community. We are firmly committed to ensuring that a character-forming, church-based, Classical education is accessible to each interested family. Our financial aid program is designed to bring that education into reach for every family who desires it. Upon acceptance, each family will have the opportunity to apply for financial aid. The need of each household will be assessed by a third-party financial aid platform. The financial aid award for each student will then be shared with the family.

The Financial Aid Process While completing the application, you will be invited to indicate if you are interested in applying for financial aid. SJCS partners with BeneFAQ (a third party application) to assess a family’s need. With the support of our donors, we are pleased to offer need-based financial aid to each and every student.

-12 equal payments beginning June 5th -$25 late fee incurred after the 15th of each month -accounts that are 30 days past due will incur an additional $25 late fee -students may not return if an account is 90 days past due -must be set up with autopay (ACH payments are free, credit and debit cards have an additional fee)

Delayed Entry & Early Withdrawal At times, a family may join St. John Chrysostom School after the beginning of the school year or leave prior to the conclusion of the school year. We recognize that a variety of life circumstances may make such a change necessary. Maintaining a reasonable schedule (outlined below), allows the school to responsibly plan for the school year, as well as allows families to anticipate the financial expense if they need to make a change.

Since St. John Chrysostom School makes budgetary decisions based upon enrollment (purchasing supplies and materials, contracting with teachers and staff), the school retains a prorated portion of tuition if a family must withdraw before/during the school year.

When a student is withdrawn from the school, whether at the request of the parent or the school, the parents' financial liability for tuition is shown below. When a student enters mid-year, tuition is prorated according to the Delayed Entry schedule below.
