Uniform Policy 2026-2027

Uniform Rationale

Christ Academy students wear uniforms. While our dress code is neat and attractive and simplifies student attire, functioning to diminish socioeconomic cliques, we wear uniforms for a deeper purpose. Uniforms do not remove the individuality of the student but instead represent the vocational calling of the student, aiming to bind and unite our students in a common vision, a singularity of purpose, in the pursuit of virtue.

General Guidelines ALL GIRLS AND BOYS Students’ clothing and shoes must be clean, free of holes or tears and appropriately sized.

Dress uniforms are to be worn every Monday & on special occasions such as concerts, graduation and special field trips as directed.

Dress uniforms may also be worn on Daily uniform days as desired.

Daily uniforms may be worn Tuesday through Thursday. *If you have specific questions regarding how or what to order, please call the school or email the Head of School.

IMPORTANT: All pants, skirts, optional accessories, and shirts must be French Toast Brand (link below and specific links on the next pages) Belts, shoes, socks, tights, biker shorts, undershirts and other accessories may be purchased anywhere.

Lower School (K-5) Girls DRESS UNIFORM: MONDAY & SPECIAL EVENTS Plaid Box Pleat Jumper (Blue Red Plaid) Long or Short Sleeve Peter Pan Blouse (White) *Long Sleeve Peter Pan Blouse required for concerts & special events as directed Black, White or Navy Ankle Socks or Knee Socks.

Hair & Accesories GIRLS (K-12) Hairstyles should be neat and hair must be kept from covering the eyes.

Hair dye, whether permanent or temporary must be a natural color. Hair feathers and tinsel are not allowed.

Hair Accessories including scrunchies, ribbons, bows and headbands must be solid-colored and match the style of the uniform Makeup should be modest and simple. No bright colors or dark eye makeup.

Nail polish and length of nails must be simple and not distracting.

Piercings may be worn in the ears only.

Other jewelry must be simple and non-distracting: studs, small hoops, small dangle earrings, one simple necklace and/or one simple bracelet. Alternative earrings, wrist cuffs or multiple necklaces and/or bracelets are not allowed.

Visible tattoos and temporary drawings are not allowed.

BOYS (K-12) Hair must be neatly trimmed so it does not extend below the eyebrows or top of the ear. Hair must be trimmed above the collar.

Hair dye, whether permanent or temporary must be a natural color.

Faces must be clean-shaven: no stubble, beards, mustaches, or sideburns below the middle of the ear.

Nail polish and pierced jewelry are not allowed.

Visible tattoos and temporary drawings are not allowed.
