CHOOSE ACT INFORMATION *For CHOOSE Act applicants, payments are made only on the difference between CHOOSE Act support and total tuition prior to notification of award status. If the application is denied, then the monthly payment amount will be adjusted to account for all remaining tuition. CHOOSE Act Considerations: Families planning to use CHOOSE Act funds must submit an Intent to Use CHOOSE Act Funds form by the published enrollment deadline. The CHOOSE Act application window opens January 2027, with award notifications sent in May and funds typically disbursed in July. The annual payment discount does not apply to the use of CHOOSE Act funds. Families awaiting CHOOSE Act awards are required to complete enrollment and sign their tuition agreements. Payments may be deferred until July for families who receive CHOOSE Act confirmation. Any family who will be reliant on CHOOSE Act funds to pay tuition is strongly encouraged to apply for financial aid at the time of enrollment as a contingency in the event CHOOSE Act funds are denied. Decisions for financial aid will not be made until after a denial by CHOOSE Act, ensuring stewardship of limited funds and prioritizing families with verified need. EARLY WITHDRAWAL Valleydale Classical Academy makes budgetary decisions, purchases supplies, and enters into contracts with teachers and staff based upon projected enrollment set by our enrollment agreements. As a result, Valleydale Classical Academy retains a prorated portion of tuition if student(s) are withdrawn after an enrollment agreement is signed. When a student is withdrawn from the school, whether at the request of the parent or Valleydale Classical Academy, the parents' financial responsibility for tuition is shown below. When a student enters midyear, tuition is prorated according to the Delayed Entry schedule below.
