SpeeDee Oil Change and Auto Service added a franchise location in Winston-Salem, N.C., according to a press release. The shop is located at 124 University Center Drive and has eight bays for quick maintenance and some repair work. Franchisee Brian Morrison is the operator and is expanding in the mid-Atlantic markets, the release says. “My Winston-Salem team and I look forward to delivering on the same, outstanding service we deliver at our other locations—service that SpeeDee has been known for throughout the country for more than 40 years,” Morrison said in the release. Drive and Shine of Schererville, Ind., took home the Best Place for an Oil Change award for the region, reports The Times of Northwest Indiana. Owner Frank Hatami models his leadership after the late General Electric CEO Jack Welch, the paper says. That means top notch training for management and good benefits for employees. “It doesn’t matter how experienced you are or how good you are in your job, if

Franchisee Allied Lube Group announced the opening of a new service center in Texas. The four-bay shop is located at 12701 Telge Road in Cypress, Texas, according to a press release. The service menu includes brakes, tires, and battery work, in addition to the oil change. This is the second new location for Allied Lube in 2021, the release said. STRICKLAND BROTHERS GAINS STRATEGIC INVESTMENT
Princeton Equity Group announced a strategic investment in Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change, according to a press release. Exact terms of the investment weren’t released. The press release noted that Strickland Brothers has awarded 165 franchise licenses since it began franchising in early 2020.
