THE SENIORITY BANQUET WAS ALL ABOUT THIS GUY IN THE END. John Franklin Donovan moved to Vail from Chicago in the late ‘60s with no real plan except to work for a new ski resort for the next 45 years. He is the epitome of pride and is Vail Resorts Meet the Mountain expert. He says that he loves nothing more than turning people on to the best mountain in the world every day. It’s so easy when it’s Vail. 45 years is a chunk of time and John is still charging on and on. Congratulations Mr. Donovan on a job and life well done.
A PROUD MOMENT FOR MIKE. Mike Johnson was amongst the proud, the few the 30 year Vail Resorts veterans. Keep it up Mike, we love you.
PROUD TO BE PATTY. Patty Wall was one of the 30-year veterans who was welcomed up on stage the other night at the Seniority Banquet for Vail Resorts. Patty is the Product Manager for 3-6 alpine at Gold Peak. She is married to “Off the Wall” Kevin and has three wonderful daughters. She is a Loyal Kid Rock supporter, a fan of cosmopolitans and wants to remind everyone that 30 years goes by way too fast ... so don’t blink.
