PASC Recognizes First Keystone Councils Last year, PASC introduced a brand-new awards program called the Keystone Councils, to recognize truly outstanding student councils in Pennsylvania. Both middle level and high school councils had to excel in not only the major categories of leadership development, council organization, activities, and evaluation, but also minor categories such as financial procedures, community outreach, and communication. After carefully reviewing each application, PASC is proud to announce the following student councils as the first ever Keystone Councils! These schools were recognized at the 2014 State Conference in Altoona.

Middle Level • Fleetwood MS (Distinguished Keystone Council) • Quaker Valley MS (Keystone Council)
