Cannabis has never been a job to me and when the opportunity to be part of this young and growing industry presented itself I ran with it. CC: I’ve always been passionate about cannabis. Helping people heal in such natural way and watching an industry bloom right in front of my eyes has been the best part.

Kaneh Co. is a great brand whose values align with ShowGrow’s values. Compliance for any cannabis company is extremely challenging and Kaneh CO. has seen their fair share of struggles and persevered. The one thing we have been able to rely on with Kaneh CO. has been their ability to keep a full assortment of SKU’s on our shelves. Kaneh CO. has been able to do exactly that during a time when most vendors have not. CC: Maintaining multiple skus and full assortment of products, Kaneh CO. has always delivered exceptional support when it comes to patient appreciation day and budtender training and that’s something most vendors struggles with. DeSCRibe YOuR RelatiOnSHip WitH SHOWGROW. BR: Showgrow was one of our very first clients. Their business has been a big part of our growth throughout the years. The values of our companies are aligned completely in that we both strive for the ultimate quality customer experience. We both believe in unwavering quality, consistency, and compliance. The fact that we are likeminded makes for a great relationship between our two companies. WHat iS a peRSOnal HiGHliGHt/MeMORY Of YOuR tiMe WitH SHOWGROW? LG: My first year with ShowGrow was the first year we won OC Weekly’s Best Dispensary. Sharing that winning moment with my team was an absolutely pivotal moment in my career. That’s when I knew I found my home in this industry. CC: Opening our location in Long Beach was definitely my highlight, it was an amazing time. I got to work side by side with young, passionate, smart individuals while building, merchandising and intaking the products a few days before our opening was a thrill. We were able to pull it off and the grand opening was a success. HOW DOeS SOMeOne beCOMe a VenDOR WitH SHOWGROW? LG: We host open vendor meetings every Tuesday at our shop from 1pm to 2pm. Our Vendor Liaison makes himself available during that time to meet with every vendor personally. We have an extensive internal sampling process, that includes a broad group of experts who ultimately determine if the product is worthy of sitting on the Show Grow shelves. CC: We have our vendors set up a meeting with our buyer. Once the meeting is done samples will be taken for the buyer and staff to try and if a good general consensus comes back then your product is considered for ShowGrow’s shelves. HOW DO YOu MaKe SuRe YOuR VenDORS ValueS aliGn WitH SHOWGROW’S HiGH StanDaRDS? LG: ShowGrow is a company with high moral values. It is important that our vendors share those values, are seen as friends to the community, provide consistent quality and affordable products and are interested in a genuine relationship, partnering to make the industry and the world a better place.
WHat MaKeS YOuR pRODuCtS DiffeRent fROM OtHeR eDibleS On tHe MaRKet? BR: We are a chef driven company that hand crafts all of our products. We include the finest ingredients we can source and put the utmost care into each item that comes out of our kitchen. We value the taste of our product as paramount as the cannabis portion of the experience. An experienced team of pastry chefs prepares each batch of product that we painstakingly weigh, quality check, and package. HOW HaS YOuR COMpanY eVOlVeD in tHe paSt feW YeaRS? BR: We started out as a 5 person operation of friends and family and have grown above and beyond our wildest expectations. We have fine-tuned our products and systems over the years in order to keep up with the demands of regulations. We have a line of 19 products, including no refined sugar added items and gluten free items. It was important for us to include these so clients that do not consume those ingredients could also enjoy our brand. We are now doing holiday special edition products and are looking forward to expanding our product line with other confections.
