Finally, after my research and travels, I arrived in Shirdi. In Shirdi, there was free food and accommodations. I purchased a small mat and a little pillow. I cleaned the Dwarkamai for several months and spent the time very peacefully. All the security guards respected me. Every day was a big deal with me and Baba.

At night, I just laid down in a corner in Dwarkamai and slept. In the morning, I woke up and used the common showers and went back. After several weeks, I started getting bored. Everyday Baba was giving a lot of visions, but that’s all maya, maya, maya. I really got stuck in the maya. ‘Why do I need to go and sit for weeks?’ Sometimes my mind thought, ‘Better to take the examination and get a good job.’

Then finally one night when I was in Shirdi, I wept to Baba. ‘Baba, I don’t have tolerance. Which way should I go?’ Very strongly he came. I felt it. ‘Patience. Patience.’ He injected me with patience. Then even if somebody is throwing a bomb, harassing me, this and that, fine, sthita pragnatha. Completely sthita pragnatha. If you came to sthita pragnatha, the maya cannot touch you, bottom line.
