Materials needed US size 9 straight knitting needles, tapestry needle, #38 or 40 felting needle, needle felting mat.

Charles River Center (CRI) Charles River Industries (CRI) is a non-profit organization providing vocational training and job placement services for individuals with disabilities. CRI is our manufacturing facility for our kits.
Connect-Africa The Connect-Africa Foundation helps villagers in Uganda who are struggling to support the thousands of children orphaned by AIDS. They give start-up business loans to guardians of orphans, and educational support to the orphans themselves. The outcome is self-sufficiency and sustainability for their future. The Dolly-Mamas LLC works with Connect-Africa by providing training and raw materials to the knitting entrepreneurs making our finished sample KuKu Dolls. The Dolly-Mamas purchase the knitted dolls from the Connect Africa Foundation, providing an ongoing revenue stream for these entrepreneurs.
