From testing ingredients, to picking product names, to working with renowned barbers, Beckham was the captain of this new product launch. “I created HOUSE 99 to give people the inspiration, as well as the right products, to experiment and feel completely at home doing so. “HOUSE 99 is here to support men,” he adds, “to give them the tools they need to create whatever look they are going for.” Why “HOUSE 99?” For one, Beckham’s goal is to build a fraternity of “grooming aficionados,” and 1999 was a special year for him: he married Victoria, he had his first son Brooklyn, and watched his beloved Manchester United win the treble. He even tattooed “99” on his hand.
