Welcome to summer in Oklahoma!! 60 degrees one week and 95 the next!! All this warm weather just means everyone may get out and enjoy the wonderful events that are scheduled at our Pawnee Lake and downtown Pawnee in the weeks to come. Camping at Lake Pawnee is on the rise, lots of people enjoying our beauful 1929 WPA Bath House and swimming area, golfers are out early on the Pawnee Golf course. The next big event will be our July 4 celebraon but on July 3rd. Old fashioned games, 3-legged sack races, water volleyball, egg toss, boot throw, turtle races will all take place on the Pawnee Court House Square July 3, starng at 8a.m. for registraon, games begin at 9a.m. There will also be special acvies for all ages at the Pawnee Lake the a ernoon of the 3rd ending with a major Fireworks show that evening.
