2. Tweet ‘welcome’ messages to new customers

Kick off your relationship by thanking them for choosing your company through a friendly tweet.

3. Add a Twitter username field to your forms.

4. Connect with users in a particular geographic location. While monitoring, prioritise interactions based on where they’re tweeting from.

7. Check out your leads’ most recent tweets before jumping on a sales call

Adding a personal touch on a sales call can be great way to start a conversation and build trust. Twitter makes that type of information discovery much, much easier.

8. Follow people who’ve viewed your product or pricing pages

Nurture them in social media and offer to answer their questions. This might be tricky to do without a robust tool or the ability to track leads taking these actions in your current CRM.

9. Collect positive customer tweets and use them as testimonials

Monitor instances of people mentioning your company and products in a positive light. ‘Favourite’ the most flattering tweets and use them on a dedicated product testimonial page.

10. Monitor leads mentioning your competitors
