DK BuSINESS SOluTIONS AND PINFIElDS JOIN FORCES Pinfields are a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bromsgrove, worcestershire. The company, which dates back to 1938 and serves a broad client base engaged in industry and commerce, had been searching for a suitable bookkeeping product to fit the profile for their medium and large sized clients.

Based on their own experience of software products over the years and following a careful review of the available software in the market place, it became clear that the fully customisable and comprehensive dk Business Solutions system provides the most cost effective way for Pinfield’s clients to maintain and utilise their businesses financial data. When asked what Pinfields saw as the main benefits the dk system could bring to their customers, Paul Tivey of Pinfields said that “the access to up to date financial information is key to all business owners as it enables them to make immediate and crucial decisions on their business. This is especially pertinent

in the current economic climate. A key strength of the dk system is not merely the provision of debtor, creditor and financial statements, but in addition the full summary or analysis of any aspect of the business data. From top customer and average debtor day reports to product sales and profit analysis, dk provides the strategic information to enable owners to manage their business and not let the business manage them. Pinfields have seen dk customers increase their profit margins following decisions taken from the financial data analysis dk provides.” Speaking about the partnership Simon Underhill of dk Business Solutions Ltd. said that “dk were extremely proud to partner with such a well-established and respected UK accounting firm as Pinfields and are very excited about the partnership going forward”. He added that “dk has been working closely with the accounting profession in overseas markets for a number of years and are very keen to replicate that success in the UK. A good example of this is the Icelandic market where despite being one of the hardest hit countries in the world during the economic crisis, dk has continued to grow and prosper. One of the key factors for this growth in Iceland has been dk´s close relationship with accounting firms such

as KPMG, Deloitte, and Grant-Thornton to name a few, with all the aforementioned firms claiming that by using dk, they have been able to significantly enhance their client retention and satisfaction rate. With dk being such a comprehensive system it allows companies to run their own operations whether it is sales, purchasing, inventory management, hotel/event bookings or project billing while leaving the accounts and bookkeeping aspect to the accounting firms. A great number of accounting firms have been using dk in the cloud, where they are able to facilitate a real-time working relationship with their clients with numerous benefits for each party.” From the seamless planning and implementation process to the continuing aftercare, dk Business Solutions and Pinfields will work together to ensure that customer expectations are met. Both parties see this as a long term partnership where the goal is to develop and provide high quality business management solutions for their customers.
