Imagine the smell of freshly brewed Lavazza coffee, house-made buttery pastries, and authentic handchurned Italian Gelato. Look no further…these guilty pleasures can be found at Zero Gradi, where sweet dreams come true! After seeing great success with Zero Sweets and Coffees in the Bishop Arts District, the need for expansion came. Serving as the second and outermost location for North Texas residents to enjoy authentic Italian flavors, the quaint and welcoming dessert bar opened right off Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, at 6975 Lebanon Road. Inspired by his travels to Italy, founder and celebrity chef Johnny DiFrancesco sought to capture the authentic flavors of the Amalfi Coast. Sourcing the freshest and highest quality ingredients, he set forth to create and share his findings with the world, thus the Gradi Group was born. DiFrancesco is credited with creating the “world’s best” Neapolitan Pizza. Oddly enough, he did so from Australia. Since opening his doors in Melbourne in 2008, Johnny DiFrancesco A.K.A the World Pizza Champion has continued to grow the Gradi Group. Expanding to include 400 Gradi: La Vera Pizza Napoletana and Zero Gradi: Gelateria and Dessert Bar. With much success and accreditation, DiFrancesco said, ‘arrivederci’ to the land down under and set his heart on Dallas as his mainland destination. “We chose Dallas because of its multi-cultural food scene and the people. You can’t find the same Southern hospitality that you get in Dallas, anywhere else in the States.” Paying homage to authentic Italian flavors and traditions, DiFrancesco has shared his love of food and the Amalfi Coast across Victoria, Adelaide, Kuwait, New Zealand, Texas, and global cruise liners.
