8th The March Society – a talk from Anglian Water will give a quick introduction to the company with water-saving tips and how to keep your water healthy, before going into discussions on some of their campaigns. They are looking for feedback, your opinions these new campaigns and what you would like them to focus on or do differently. March Library, 7pm. All welcome, £2 members, £3 non-members.
10th-13th Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Peckover House. Over Easter weekend we will be supported by Cadbury. Complete our Active Easter Trail and you can collect your Cadbury chocolate prize! 11am-4pm. £2.50 per child, plus normal admission applies to non-NT members – see prices on our website.
13th Open tower event at St Wendreda's Church, Church Street, March. The tower will be open for tours from 11am-3pm. Admission – adults £3.50, accompanied children under twelve years, £1.50. Refreshments available, stalls, have a go at bell ringing, bring your teddy for zip wire experience. Tour guide available.
15th Friends of March Library Lego at March Library, from 10.30am-12pm. All ages welcome, 50p per child. Please bring along a named baseboard if you have one. 22nd Afternoon Tea with Nicola Upson at March Library from 2.30pm-4.30pm. We welcome popular Suffolk crime author Nicola Upson, creator of the Josephine Tey novels, to help us celebrate World Book Night. Nicola’s eighth book about Josephine was published in 2019. Tickets £3 each including refreshments. Places are limited and may be booked with library staff.
25th Friends of March Library Coffee Morning at March Library, from 10.30am-12pm. The Friends of March Library invite you to join them for coffee/tea and biscuits and the chance to try your luck in the prize raffle. You can also bring along a used jigsaw to swap with one of ours or just borrow one to take home – It’s FREE!
26th At March Library there will be craft activities, a treasure hunt and refreshments on offer between 10am and 1pm, along with the chance to explore the library and become a member. The public computers will also be available to use.
27th Engage in the Afternoon at March Library, from 2pm3.30pm. March Library favourite Colin Bedford will be back, this time bringing his vast collection of WWII memorabilia covering all 1940s cycles, Home Guard, Post Office and local Land Army. See wartime household items: lights, sweeping brushes, soaps and ladies stockings, evacuee items, and a large selection of Dinky and wartime toys. Entry is free and refreshments are provided.

20Twenty We currently run three theatre groups which perform musical theatre, acting, singing and dancing. All groups will perform at least one main show each year alongside other community performances including March GER Christmas Cracker, St George’s Fayre and our fundraising events. The first session is always a free introductory session to provide your child with a chance to decide if they believe they will enjoy being a member. The Youth Theatre sessions run during school term time at March Town Hall as follows: • Double Act – Ages six to 11. Tuesdays, 5pm-6.30pm. Cost £4 per session. • All-Stars – School years seven & eight, Thursdays, 5pm-7pm. Cost £5 per session. • Boundless – School years nine to 13. Tuesdays, 7pm-9pm. Cost £5 per session. Mondays March Silver Circle is an over 50s club which meets at the March United Services Club, every Monday afternoon, playing various games and various other activities.
Bingo at The Sportsman, Chatteris, every two weeks (excluding Bank Holidays). Eyes down from 7.30pm. Cash prizes and raffles.

March Lunch and Film Club meets on the first Thursday of each month in March Town Hall. Tickets are just £13 each and can be purchased from Paninis in advance of the showings, which are organised by Fenland Arts Association. People join the club for free, but as members they purchase their meal from Paninis and the film is provided at no cost.

Forest School offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment. This group is mainly home educated children, but all are welcome. Sessions £5 per child (age 2-13 yrs).
Saturdays Hereward Ukulele Group meets at the Braza Club on the first and third Saturday of each month, starting at 10.30am. We would welcome ukulele players of all abilities and have a couple of spare ukuleles for anyone who would like to give it a try. March Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club meets first Saturday of the month at Cassanos, High Street, March from 9.30am. Come and join the tribe for some food and banter. No fees just pay for your own breakfast.
March Rotary Club Wastepaper Collection. Bring your clean newspapers, magazines, junk mail, cardboard to March Rotary Club at the lorry park on City Road (behind Iceland). Every second Saturday of the month, 8.30am-10.30am. All money raised by recycling the paper-based materials will be donated to local charitable causes.
Sundays Rings End Nature Conservation Group meets the second Sunday of each month with opportunities to learn about and develop biodiversity. Enjoy pond dipping, amphibian, bat and butterfly walks and help manage the reserve. We meet between 9.30am-12.30pm, park at Pocket Park car park PE15 0BE or wander down the path to find us. Cycle racks are available.
