Burghley House
9th - 2.30pm: Picnic in the Park Playing Fields, Rotten Row, Pinchbeck, Spalding. Picnic provided just bring a drink and a chair.
The House is now open from Wednesday -Sunday with timed ticket slots between 10-30am -4pm. The gardens are open daily with two time slots, from 10-30am -1pm and 2pm – 4pm.
16th - 2.00pm: Visit to Exotic Pet Refuge, Deeping St. James. Bring a drink and snack to enjoy an open-air chat after the visit in the grounds of the refuge.
The Garden of Surprises will be open, although there will be limited access to certain areas and no contact with water features. To maintain your safety, the children’s paddling area, maze and viewing mound will be closed.
24th - 2.30pm: Afternoon Tea at Waterside Garden Centre, Baston. Cost £12. 29th - 3.00pm: A fun walking Treasure Hunt around the town centre of Market Deeping, followed by fish and chip tea at the Boundary Restaurant, Market Deeping. Just pay for your fish and chips.

Deepings Camera Club As one of the region’s most popular and active photography clubs, the season at Deepings Camera club starts on September 9th and runs through until May. Due to Covid-19, they will not be meeting at their usual venue although they do have a diary of online events including competitions, sessions to develop your skills and presentations by guest speakers such as the ex-picture editor of The Times newspaper and the sports photographer for the Mail on Sunday who covered the Olympic Games in 2012. They meet every Wednesday at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and usually finish at around 9-9.30pm, with a break for coffee.
Local Folk Singers and Players Keeping Their Arts Alive Sept. 4th - Zoom singing and playing session with Dean Hardy, from Morton. This features people singing and playing tunes, and others, also sitting in their own houses, listening and tapping along. Contact Dean Hardy on 0177 8570115. Sept. 8th and 22nd - Pete Shaw’s Zoom “Slow and Easy Tune Sessions,” 7.15pm -9.00pm, are designed for beginners in easy folk tunes, anyone can join on whatever instrument, or just listen in. Call 01778 571563 for an invite. Sunday afternoons at 3pm at the Hare and Hounds, Haconby. Traditional tune sessions are at present running outside in the garden there.
