TOUR SAINT PAUL’S ANGLICAN CHURCH

1749 Argyle St | Downtown Halifax Take a guided tour of the oldest building in Halifax. St. Paul's is both the oldest building in Halifax and the oldest existing Anglican place of worship in Canada! The church is open to the public daily (except Sundays) and is free to enter. They offer free guided tours from June – October. LOCAL TIP: St. Paul’s Anglican Church has a ton of unique history pertaining to the Halifax Explosion. See if you can spot the facial profile on one of the upper-level windows, said to resemble one of the church’s deacons who perished during the 1917 tragedy.
