aller: “I need my wheels aligned.” Why, may I ask. “Because it vibrates and pulls going down the road.” Well, you might need an alignment, but more likely you have a tire issue. The problem here is the tire is separating from the case. Caller: “I need a tune-up.” How do you know that? I ask. “Because it shakes at idle.” How does it run down the road? “It runs fine and no check engine light.” The most likely cause here is worn engine mounts. Don’t make the mistake of asking for something and then finding out when you get your car back that it is not fixed. Let your repair facility make the call, not you. That is their job.
