Avant 1998, et du côté Marocain, on se souvient de la visite en Chine du Premier Ministre Maati Bouabid en 1982, du Président du Parlement Ahmed Osman en 1986, de SAR le Prince Héritier Sidi Mohammed en novembre 1991(aujourd’hui Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI).
Before 1998, on the Moroccan side, we remember the visit to China by the Prime Minister Maati Bouabid in 1982, the Speaker of Parliament Ahmed Osman in 1986, and the HRH Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed in 1991 (now His Majesty King Mohammed VI).
Du côté chinois, le Maroc a reçu le Premier ministre Zhou Enlai accompagné du vice-Premier ministre et ministre des AE en 1963, la vice-Premier ministre Chen Muhua en 1980, le vice-président de l’Assemblée populaire nationale (APN) Pen Chong en 1982, le conseiller d’Etat Chen Junsheng en 1994, le vice-président du Comité permanent de l’APN Li Peiyao en 1994, le Premier ministre Li Peng et la ministre du Commerce et de la coopération Wu Yi en 1995 et le conseille d’Etat Song Jian en 1997.
On the Chinese side, Morocco received Premier Zhou Enlai accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister in 1963, the Vice Premier Chen Muhua in 1980, the vice president of the National People’s Congress (NPC) Pen Chong in 1982, State Councilor Chen Junsheng in 1994, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC Li Peiyao in 1994, Premier Li Peng and the Minister of Trade and Cooperation Wu Yi in 1995 and the State Advisor, Song Jian in 1997.
a Majesté le Roi Hassan II a reçu, le 8 janvier 1998 au Palais Royal de Rabat le Ministre des Affaires étrangères chinois, M. Qian Qichen, en visite de travail de deux jours au Maroc. Cette visite s’est effectuée dans le prolongement des échanges bilatéraux de haut rang entre le Maroc et la Chine depuis l’établissement des relations diplomatiques entre les deux pays, en 1958. Il est a rappeler que le Maroc fut le premier Royaume et le second pays africain à reconnaître la République Populaire de Chine.

is Majesty King Hassan II received on 8 January 1998 at the Royal Palace in Rabat the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Qian Qichen during his working visit of two days in Morocco. This visit took place in the wake of senior bilateral exchanges between Morocco and China since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1958. It was recalled that Morocco was the first kingdom and the second African country to recognize the People’s Republic of China.
