María Jesús Alonso Jiménez, the prestigious award of The Order of Isabella the Catholic (Spanish: Orden de Isabel la Católica) for his role as former Mayor of Utrecht in bringing the start of the famous Spanish cycling tour “La Vuelta” to Utrecht.
