led by my design partner, Taehyung Kim, and I, the installation is an orechestra of site studies and construction. the siting of the chairs takes the observed social qualties of the site. the north half creates an inwardly focused circle - this is a social spot where chairs cluster. the south is outwardly focused - these are contemplative areas where chairs are scattered and take advantage of individual experiences and views.
