Nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. Clean water initiative addresses Environmental issues • Deforestation • Land degradation • Water pollution from agricultural runoff and sewage • Siltation of spawning grounds, which endangers fish population
INFECTIOUS DISEASES • Food or waterborne diseases • Bacterial and protozoa diarrhea • Hepatitis A • Typhoid fever • Schistosomiasis Parasite • Malaria • Animal contact diseases (Rabies)
The Goal Eight (8) New Water Wells in 2013, strategically located near schools and church properties. Funds will cover materials, transportation, labor, training and education and maintenance. Wells will be drilled, equipment installed and system put into operation by Warm Heart International, who has experience in drilling wells in Southern Malawi. warmheartinternational.org ACCOUNTABILITY: 100% of the money directly funds water projects for people in need and you’ll get to see where every penny went.
