"After completing a long held ambition to do a tandem sky dive, I'm happy to say 'I've done it' and I would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who has supported me in this achievement.

Special appreciation to my lovely family for giving me the opportunity as a Christmas gift, to my many friends and family for their generosity in sponsoring me, and to my instructors Chris and Andy, and all the staff at UK Parachuting who looked after this old lady so well on the day. I have been overwhelmed by the response and am pleased to say the total so far for Dementia UK is an amazing £1,580.50 and still rising! So if anyone is considering doing a sky dive, don't think about it 'just do it' ... It is an amazing experience! With love and many thanks , Val Barker
