Ο Ιωάννης Ξενάκης ήταν ένας από τους πιο εντυπωσιακούς και εξαιρετικούς αρχιτέκτονες και συνθέτες του 20ου αιώνα, διεθνώς γνωστός ως "Iannis Xenakis". Νέες, εξαιρετικές και πρωτοποριακές μέθοδοι, οι οποίες αναπτύχθηκαν από τον ίδιο, σχετίζονται τόσο με την μουσική, όσο και με την αρχιτεκτονική, τα μαθηματικά και την επιστήμη. Σε συνεργασία με τον Πάνο Σπηλιωτάκη, Peter Spiliotakis, αρχιτέκτονα και πολύ καλό του φίλο, έθεσαν τις βάσεις για τον σχεδιασμό του Isthmia Prime Hotel. Κατά τη διάρκεια της δεκαετίας του '60, όταν η δομή του ξενοδοχείου ολοκληρώθηκε, ένα ακόμη σημαντικό μέλος έλαβε μέρος. Ο διάσημος Ελληνοαμερικάνος Tom Papas (ESSO), ο οποίος είχε βαθιά γνώση των Αμερικανικών προτύπων, ήταν ο πιο σημαντικός παράγοντας του ξενοδοχείου, όπως το γνωρίζουμε σήμερα.
History of our Hotel Ioannis Xenakis was internationally known as one of the most impressive and exceptional architects and music composers of the 20th century. He developed exceptional and pioneering ideas by combining music with architecture, mathematics and science. In collaboration Peter Spiliotakis, an architect and a good friend of Iannis Xenakis, they laid the foundations of Isthmia Prime Hotel. During the ’60s, when the structure of the hotel was completed, another important member took part. The well – known entrepreneur Tom Pappas (ESSO), who had extensive knowledge on the American building, was the most important factor for the outcome of our hotel, as we know it today.
