Just below the Lewisville Lake dam, LLELA’s unique features include a clear and cool stretch of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. Sink a line from the river’s bank to catch bass and crappie or paddle a canoe to fish in other areas of the river. Take a guided kayak tour to explore miles of beauty and spot wildlife, including bobcats, coyotes, beavers and deer. Elm Fork Trinity River Paddling Trail has multiple access points as it meanders through nearby cities. Another option is the scenic Beaver Pond, part of the Texas Paddling Trail system, which includes interpretive signs to enhance the experience of this waterway paradise.
