Wahrmund, treasurer; Mike Hartmann, secretary, and Walton Heimann, second secretary. 2009 The fair was the weekend of Aug. 20-23, 2009. The carnival began Thursday evening, an ongoing tradition. Horse racing began at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Performers at the dances were Darrell McCall and the Tennessee Volunteers on Friday night, and Jake Hooker and the Outsiders opened for Gary P. Nunn Saturday night. The 101st Fair Queen was Chenoa Schmidt. Her court included Duchesses Alyssa Hartmann, Annora Herrera, Kersey Peterson and Kristina Fiedler.
