Berger, two strokes back and T7 through 54 holes, shot 66 in a tight final-round battle. Four players finished one stroke behind, all missing birdie putts on the final hole.  Berger ranked first in Putting from 10-15 feet, making 10 of 14 from that range.  Berger ranked fifth in Strokes Gained: Approach the Green at 1.362 per round.

CHECK THIS OUT  The Charles Schwab Challenge was the first tournament of the PGA TOUR’s 2020 restart after three months off due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The victory was Daniel Berger’s third on the PGA TOUR, each one of them in the second week of June (2016 and 2017 FedEx St. Jude Classic).  None of the top eight finishers had a round over par and six of them posted four subpar rounds.
