The Amphibious Dock Landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44) moors starboard side at Union Pier, downtown Charleston Nov. 4. The ship’s crew conducted training with more than 80 Citadel Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Midshipmen. The Gunston Hall supports amphibious operations via helicopters, Landing Craft Air Cushion and conventional landing craft.
