Starr Reyes is a jack-of-all-trades who was born and raised in Quezon City, Philippines. She went to an all-girls school for her primary and secondary education, and then got a degree in Journalism from a Catholic university in the Philippines. She tried her hand at public relations, where she loved the diversity of the work and meeting all sorts of people.

In 2009, Starr moved to Melbourne, Australia to do a Master's in Global Media Communications at Melbourne University. She also worked at an English and TAFE college as a receptionist, which got her interested in education. After working in international admissions for a bit, Starr found her calling in alumni relations. Today, Starr is the Alumni Relations Coordinator at Victoria University. She keeps over 280,000 alumni all over the world engaged with the university by setting up speaking events, mentoring, networking events, and professional development opportunities. She's always looking for ways to make a difference in the lives of current students, whether its by sharing her expertise or by raising funds for the university.

When Starr isn't working, she's a proud mom to her six-year-old daughter and seven-year-old cavoodle. Together, they love getting out in nature, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, and sampling new cuisines wherever they go. Starr is passionate about connecting with people and helping them make a difference in their own ways, whether it's through education, volunteering, or just being kind to others.
