Red Square Gaming Yearbook 2014

Page 1

2013-2014 YEARBOOK

Before there was Red Square Agency there was SullivanSt. Clair, and before that, there was Reynolds Sullivan. Further evolution was inevitable. And so it was that Red Square Gaming was born on August 1, 2013. An affinity for gaming grew into a brand backed by smart people who know the game and the business. We became the ad agency for smart casino brands, and we proceeded to market ourselves agressively as the only full service agency for the gaming industry. We claimed the category. And we restructured the team to better serve the volume and demands of our current clients and prepare for new clients who would surely come knocking. Visually, our brand embraces the kitsch and iconography of the industry with beautifully designed stationery, merchandise, packaging and even playing cards. Taking what we know and applying it to a category we love is the heart and soul of the Red Square Gaming brand. It lives in all of us.

Mardi Gras February 28, 2014—Our last Mardi Gras party at 202. Blow House Band provided warm-up music to the Crewe of Columbus Parade. And of course, Dew Drop and Foosackly’s provided the tasty snacks.

Dos de Mayo

ATR Team

May 2, 2014—Cinco de Mayo done the Red Square way. Food from Chipotle and Bike Shop, frozen beverages made in-house, and the traditional unicorn piñata. Word.

Our Azalea Trail Run team did it again, taking 3rd place in the small corporate division.

54 St.E The countdown is underway to the big move into the big new building.

Christmas Party Our Special Guests Were A Hit Red Square parties tend to impress, and this was no exception. Guests filled Courtyard Manor on December 13, enjoying music by the Atlanta All Stars and delicious food by Bay Gourmet. Add in a cocktail and a few drag queens, and it was bound to be a success.

The Greater Good The agency as a whole participated in many projects over the year including a Habitat for Humanity project, a mural for the Bay Area Food Bank and collections for Good Will.

Launch Party

VCU Brandcenter

Celebrating two new companies: RSQ and Red Square Gaming. Of course we booked a high school band and had plenty of food and drink.

VCU offered a week-long conference on how to be a better creative director, and Diana and Stephean attended. Speakers included top creative talent, and attendees were broken out into groups and given an assignment to complete and present to the group and panel of teachers. Good news: they both passed!

Halloween It’s become one big unofficial party—it turns out that we really like Halloween and dressing up. Lots of creativity in this office!

Frappé 2013 A Tale of Two Buses Overcast skies caused heavier than normal alcohol consumption early on in this Frappé. Just as the clouds began to part and the sun started shining, it was time to pack up the buses. But Rich invited everyone to stay longer and enjoy the sunshine, much to Miss Mary’s dismay. Bus One (we’ll call it the smart bus) loaded up and drove back to Mobile. Bus two (the misguided one) proceeded to stay and drink in the sunshine, and consequently was a s*$t show on the way back. Here’s a lesson, boys and girls: there is a reason Frappé ends at 3:30. P.S. Corey “won.”
