In 2024 will be 50 years since Diana Hunting Tours was founded by Jan Krossteig. From the very beginning our aim has been to offer hunters high quality hunting tours carefully matched to their wishes and expectations. Today, 50 years later, we maintain the same values when we help our many clients arrange a hunting tour to one of our many destinations worldwide.

When Diana first started in 1974, the first countries we we arranged hunting tours too were Great Britain, Turkey and Greenland. Now, after 50 years, our enthusiasm for these countries is still as strong as ever and we still arrange many hunting trips to these popular destinations.

Quality never comes by chance. The efforts we make to always deliver the best hunting tours on the market rests on a solid foundation: the most experienced team of employees in the business. Between us, we have more than 200 years of experience of organising hunting tours. Every single employee is a leader in their field - for them quality has long since become a habit.

We believe our 50 year presence in the hunting travel trade reflects our customers appreciation of good, knowledgeable advice , a wide selection of tours to more than 35 different countries, and a high level of service. We also recognise that our position in the market also brings with it its own responsibilities. We must never rest on our laurels, but strive to develop and improve the tours we offer - which is exactly what we are doing!

SOUTH AFRICA GERS SAFARIS

South Africa is renown for its excellent antelope hunting, and with Gers Safaris in the beautiful Northern Cape you can enjoy this exciting bush adventure at its best.

Gers Safaris lies in the Northern Cape Province, where we only work with one partner. Here you have the opportunity to hunt for around 30 different species of antelope, including some of the less common species such as white blesbok, all 4 types of springbok, Scimitar oryx, tsessebe, sable and roan. Of course you can also find all the more usual species such as impala, wildebeest, hartebeest, oryx and more.

The farm itself - Klein Papkuil - is 16,000 ha in size, and there is access to an additional area of other 30,000 ha on nearby concessions/districts. The hunting at GERS safaris is definitely not easy - here you will enjoy exciting tracking, then stalking, on foot through dense bush in rough terrain. The lodge has an informal atmosphere in which guests feel at home from the first moment they arrive.

Over the years we have sent many hunters to this fantastic place, and everyone - without exception - have been really thrilled with it.

The farm itself - Klein Papkuil - is 16,000 ha in size, and there is access to an additional area of other 30,000 ha on nearby concessions/districts.

The lodge is placed perfectly in peaceful surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and all have en-suite facilities. There is also a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool. During 2019 GERS Safaris upgraded their lodge, adding new rooms ( = suites) and a new swimming pool. Now the lodge can offer 10 rooms and 4 suites.

The food served here is well worth writing home about. Delicately prepared African dishes, where game is often cooked over the glowing ember of the fireplace. The farm is run by Julius and his wife Madelene, and it is a matter of pride for them to ensure their guests enjoy an unforgettable stay here.

SOUTH AFRICA BALULE RIVER LODGE

A safari at Balule River Lodge will give you everything you could expect from a luxury dream holiday! The lodge has a beautiful location, offering views over Greater Kruger National Park and Olifants River.

Do you want to go to South Africa, but you cannot all agree what to do? Here is the perfect solution!

Book a photo safari which gives you the chance to slip away and go hunting on one or more of your days here. Of course there is also the possibility that your companion may wish to join you on the hunt. No hunting is allowed on Balule’s own territory, but they have an agreement with a neighbouring farm. This farm is only an ½ hour drive away, and it offers a really fantastic hunting district. Here you might encounter elephants, buffalo, lions and leopard while on an antelope hunt.

River. Balule River Lodge is a charming little lodge offering accommodation for max 14 guests at any one time. Therefore everyone enjoys really good service from the attentive staff. Balule has a wonderful location in the heart of South Africa’s very best safari district - Greater Kruger National Park. Here you will enjoy magnificent scenery and exciting photo safaris.

A holiday at Balule is always Friday to Friday (depart home on a Thursday and arrive back on a Saturday). Many different activities are included in your weeks stay, but there is also space to relax or book some of the extra activities that are available. NAMIBIA

OMUJEVE HUNTING SAFARIS

We have worked in partnership with Omujeve for many years now, and can give them our wholehearted recommendations.

Omujeve can now offer two new large hunting farms - the first covers 40,000 ha and is 100km west of Windhoek in the Thomas Region, while the other is 55,000 ha in size and lies 83km from the airport in the Omaheke Region. It is a real advantage that their districts lie so close to the airport, so you don’t have a lengthy drive straight after a long flight.

As mentioned above this district lies 100km west of Windhoek and is 40,000 ha in size. Here you can find all the native species of antelope, together with Roan, Sable, Cheetah, Hyena and Leopard. KALAHARI:

Lies only 83km from Windhoek airport at the foot of a towering mountain. It is 55,000 ha in size. Here you can experience the beauty of the vast expanses of the African wilderness. Wicker Safaris Ltd have been arranging hunts in Mozambique for more than 20 years. They offer hunting in the Zambezi Delta itself. Mozambique is as unspoiled and totally unique as you could ever wish for and offers a wide diversity of game. It is a country that can let you experience a safari just as it always has been in your imagination, in an area of magnificent wilderness.

Hunters visiting the Zambezi Delta are following in the footsteps of legendary big game hunters such as Wally Johnson, Harry Manners and Robert Ruark. The hunting concession is over 300,000 ha in size.

The Zambezi Delta is an incredibly diverse biome, offering many different habitat types: huge rivers, swamps, grasslands and forests - and it is because of this diversity that you can find so many different animal species here.

This area is probably the only place in the world here you can hunt free-living nyala, sable and waterbuck, that are still able to gather together in large herds. While smaller species such as suni, orbi, red and blue duiker etc. continue to attract more and more attention from hunters visiting here. Naturally the large areas of natural wetlands that occur here make hunting crocodile into something really special.

UGANDA EXPLORE THE PEARL OF AFRICA

Uganda is an extremely exciting hunting destination. It’s nature is breathtaking, giving you the opportunity to see mountain gorillas and chimpanzees. The birdlife is also spectacular, with over 600 different species of birds. Uganda also offers great hunting, including for species that cannot be found anywhere else in Africa, such as the East African Sitatunga and the Uganda Kob. Good trophies of east African Impala, Nile Bushbuck and Nile Buffalo are also available.

The hunt for sitatunga takes place in the vast belts of papyrus that stretch along the banks of the River Nile. This area has one of the highest concentrations of sitatunga of anywhere in Africa, and it is not unusual to see several sitatunga in a day. Hunting takes place from platforms built in trees or on floating papyrus. An area around the platform is kept clear to make it possible to get a clear view of the shy sitatunga. In this area it is also possible to hunt for East African Bush Duiker, East African Bohor Reedbuck, Nile Bushbuck, Uganda Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi and Bush Pig.

Aswa Lolhim lies on the east side of the Nile. The surrounding district is dominated by gently rolling grassy hills with some palm trees and narrow valleys with light

forest cover. Next to the river itself is dense forest and huge papyrus swamps. The district covers some 500,000 ha and borders the Murchinson Falls National Park for a stretch of 110km, while to the west it borders the Nile for 78km. It is still realistic to shoot Nile Buffalo, Uganda Kob, hartebeest and waterbuck.

Karamoja (a paradise for buffalo hunters) is located in north eastern Uganda. It is an enormous hunting district some 5 million hectares in size. There are few roads in the district, none of then asphalt, and the gravel roads are often in poor condition. The hunting mainly takes the form of stalking, but it is not physically demanding, as there are many places in the district where you can spot game before initiating a stalk.

VICTORIA FALLS

DAY 1: Fly to Livingston airport (Zambia) close to Victoria Falls. Car transfer to Batonka Guest Lodge.

DAY 2: Morning: a guided tour to the waterfall. Afternoon: enjoy a sunset cruise on the River Zambezi, there is a good chance of seeing hippos, crocodiles, birds etc.

DAY 3: Full day excursion to Chobe National Park in Botswana which is renown for its enormous population of elephants, but is also home to many other species of animal. Includes a boat tour on the River Chobe and a safari in the national park.

DAY 4: Day at your own disposal. In the evening you will participate in a traditional Boma barbecue.

DAY 5: Transfer to Victoria Falls airport before flying to Johannesburg and then further home.

DAY 1: Your local guide will drive you from Cape Town Airport to the Hotel Winchester Mansions. The first evening is at your own disposal. Why not eat in one of the many charming restaurants in the Waterfront district.

DAY 2: A private full day excursion with a local guide. You will visit sights including Table Mountain, District Six Apartheid Museum and the Castle of Good Hope. In the afternoon you can choose between visiting:

2) The Waterfront + the 2 Oceans Aquarium

DAY 3: At your own disposal.

Gönye Hunting Activities can offer both individual hunts and driven hunts for wild boar, together with hunting for bezoar ibex, Anatolian red deer, Anatolian gazelle, chamois and roe deer on many exciting hunting districts in Turkey.

Over the past few seasons we have organised a number of driven hunts, all producing good results. In Turkey you will not find any fences, so you are guaranteed hunting in open countryside. The hunt itself will be carried out either in Anatolia close to Konya or close to the Black Sea coast near the town of Tokat. Although, as previously mentioned, the population of wild boar in Turkey is very good, you should not count on shooting as many boar as you might be used to on a good driven hunt in Poland or Hungary. However the percentage of large boar shot will be much higher, on some hunts 40% of the boars shot are of a very impressive size. No supplement will be charged for these huge “keilers”, all wild boar regardless of their size are included in the price.

Individual wild boar hunts

Wild boar in Turkey are considerably larger, both in body size and trophy length, than wild boar in Europe. Large

boar here can weigh more than 300kg, while the very largest shot here weighed all of 395kg. Occasionally their tusks can reach a length of 30cm! Our partner can offer a wide range of prime wild boar districts with a combined area of over one million hectares. They mainly lie in Anatolia and close to the Black Sea coast. All are hilly, forested highland districts - typically at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,500m above sea level.

Do you enjoy hunting in the mountains? If so this challenging hunt for the largest ibex of them all - the bezoar Ibex - will certainly appeal to you! Typically a large buck will carry a trophy that could measure somewhere from 90cm all the way up to 135cm. Turkey is one of the very few countries where you can hunt bezoar ibex, and our partner has access to first class concessions both in Antalya and eastern Turkey.

SLOVAKIA HUNT IN SLOVAKIA

Tomáš and Lea arrange our hunts in Slovakia - together they offer a wide range of hunting in Slovakia

Hunt in Slovakia work together with some of Slovakia’s best private hunting districts. They do a lot of preparatory work which ensures they can always offer visiting hunters the best, carefully selected, hunting districts.

Slovakia is often overlooked as a hunting destination by many people. This is a pity as it offers some very well organised hunts for most of the well known European game animals. The feedback from our hunters visiting here has been fantastic. They have given reports of large populations of game, beautiful hunting districts and impressive trophies. Hunt in Slovakia specialises in driven hunts, but can also offer some very good hunts for mouflon, red stags and fallow deer, all with the chance of bagging a very good trophy.

Driven Hunts

In Slovakia driven hunts are normally arranged for large groups of min. 17 - 25 hunters. They are often remarkable

for their beautiful, and very varied, parades which can include a good blend of wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, fox and even mouflon - all depending on the district which you are hunting in. All driven hunts are arranged in open countryside, in hunting districts of between 1,500 and 8,000 hectares. Typically you will hunt on a new district every day with fresh beaters and dogs. The day will consist of 2 - 4 large drives, which moves the game and presses them towards the line of guns. Please note that in Slovakia it is not allowed to shoot antler bearing game on driven hunts. Hunters are accommodated in charming hotels/ guesthouses, depending on the size of the group. Your hosts will make sure you enjoy festive evenings and good food from the rich traditions of Slovakia’s local cuisine.

Red- and fallow deer hunts

Hunts for red deer and fallow deer are organised during their ruts, in September and October respectively. There is a very good chance of securing an excellent trophy during the rutting season here. Hunt in Slovakia can offer hunting in some of the countries best districts for red deer and fallow deer. Game populations here are very good as is the organisation of the hunt itself. It is possible to find some very impressive red deer, trophies of up to 8 - 11 kg are not unrealistic. The same holds true for fallow deer, here it is possible to bag a really good trophy of between 4 -5 kg! In 2023 5 really impressive fallow buck with trophies of over 5kg were taken here.

Mouflon

Mouflon hunts can be arranged from mid-October to the end of February. Mouflon is hunted in hilly terrain, which often makes the hunt very challenging. It is possible to combine this hunt with hunting for wild boar and hind stalking. We should also mention that the trophy fees for mouflon rams are very favourable in Slovakia.

HUNGARY EXCELLENT TROPHIES AND A HIGH RATE OF SUCESS

Together with our “own” man in Hungary, Attila, we have been delivering high quality hunting with a good, solid rate of success to our clients for nearly 20 years. Now, in 2024, we can offer a wider, upgraded range of hunting - now with first class pheasant and duck shooting!

For many years we have worked together with Attila, our ‘own’ man in Hungary. He has local knowledge of many of the best districts in Hungary. He is an incarnate hunter, originally trained as a biologist, he has direct access to many of the best private, syndicated, districts in southern Hungary, where the really big red stags can be found.

Red Stag Hunts

A high rate of success and really excellent trophies, in Hungary red deer trophies of over 18kg have been taken. While on the best districts, the average trophy weight for rutting stags is normally between 7 - 12kg. To make it really clear, this is the place to go if you are looking for a really good trophy. As you might expect, huge Hungarian stag trophies are much in demand from hunters all around Europe, so they cannot said to be cheap. However, in Hungary they do operate a unique system that ensures that a hunter only has to pay for his trophy if it falls within a range of +/- 15% of the size agreed upon in advance. The quality of the fallow deer population is first class, and the highly professional, and very strict, game management policies ensure excellent genetics and trophy quality. Driven Hunts

The number of driven hunts arranged in Hungary has been drastically reduced over recent years. This is partially because of the advance of African Swine Fever in Hungary, but also due to many districts realising that hunting pressure has been too high for many years, so they have chosen to limit hunting for a period of time. However we are keeping in close contact with the districts, and we are sure that the world’s best driven hunts will once again be on offer in the future. Until then we can offer fine driven hunts in destinations such as Croatia, Turkey and Slovakia.

Wing Shooting

We have signed an agreement with one of the best pheasant shooting districts in northern Hungary, only an hours drive from Budapest. This is a pheasant shoot of “English Quality” with good, high flying, birds on differing slopes of varying difficulty. These forested hills were discovered by English hunters many years ago, who thought that it was the perfect biotope for good pheasant shoots. Our partner raises approx 80,000 pheasants annually, and has been professionally organising shoots in this beautiful landscape for nearly 20 years. Game parades of up to 1,000 pheasants a day are possible. The district also roofer the chase to combine the shoot with a 1/2 day duck shooting, which is also of very high quality. Accommodation is in a 1st class hunting lodge in the district itself, with 10 rooms.

Spain is home to 4 different sub-species of Ibex, all named after the mountain ranges they live in - Gredos, Beceite, Sierra Nevada and Ronda.

Hunting for the Spanish Ibex

The Gredos ibex is the biggest of the 4 Spanish sub-species and is found in the Gredos mountains south west of Madrid. In the Beciete Mountains, which are near the east coast of Spain, you can hunt another of the Spanish ibex, namely the Beciete ibex. This sub-species is highly sough after because of its long, spreading, palm like horns. In southern Spain you can hunt for the Sierra Nevada and the somewhat smaller Ronda ibex. Both of these sub-species are smaller in size than the Gredos and Beceite ibex, but this does not make the hunt any less exciting. One thing that all these hunts have in common is that they take place in wonderful nature and magnificent mountain scenery from 300 - 2500 meters in altitude. The hunting season runs from October - May and the best time to hunt is during the rutting season in October, November and December.

Our Spanish partners also offer hunting for Barbary sheep on the eat coast of Spain near Alicante. Additionally they

can arrange hunting for Iberian red deer, Pyrenean and Cantabrian chamois and much more.

Monteria - Spanish driven hunting of the highest order

We have the possibility of offering this centuries old traditional Spanish hunt. It involves using a large number of dog to drive over a big hunting district. Each district is only driven once a year, so you can always expect a good game parade. The Spanish Mediterranean biotope ensures good populations of red deer, fallow deer, mouflon and wild boar. A Monteria often consist of 20 - 30 hunters, and the hunt takes place in a partially fenced-in district.

On Mallorca we can also offer hunting for Balearic wild goats, which can easily be combined with a family summer holiday. Spain offers a broad palette of hunts and we can tailor your tour anyway you wish for.

Historically speaking Romania has always been a hunter’s paradise, even for he hunting-mad Communist Party Secretaries from former eastern bloc would hope for an invitation to go hunting with Nicolai Ceausescu. Today

Romania continues to offer outstanding hunting adventures with enormous stags, big roebuck, massive wild boar, chamois and impressive brown bears.

Roebuck hunts in Romania give the hunter the chance to hunt in a familiar way in new surroundings. The selective shooting policy has led to and impressive proportion of

medal winning bucks, and the terrain can be as challenging as you would like. If you are looking for a medal winning buck, Romania is a safe choice.

Hunting chamois in the Carpathian Mountains is a physically challenging hunt, but has roots deep in European hunting culture. The success rate is high and trophy quality impressive. The chamois in the Carpathians are also considered a separate sub-species.

Red stag hunts in Romania are renown for their unique trophies, which with their high beams and long tines, have a very distinctive appearance. The hunting during the rut in late September is truly world class, giving hunters the chance to test themselves again the rutting deer. Hunter will often stalk deer by following their roars, to expect a trophy weight of 7kg or above would not be unusual. Wild boar hunts are also available, but driven hunts for boars have been put on hold because of African Swine Fever (ASF). Individual hunts for boars are still on offer.

When lying for wait for the boars at night, it is not unusual to see bears moving close to the feeding area. Bear hunting is currently closed however, although individual, problem bears may be shot by local hunting associations. These bears may not be exported however.

Romania is ready to offer hunters a unique and many facetted hunting adventure, where the magnificent nature and the beauty of the animal life combine in one unforgettable experience.

HUNT REINDEER IN NUUK

Exciting hunting for reindeer in beautiful terrain close to Greenland’s capital city, Nuuk.

The summer hunts for reindeer take place in the period between the 1st August and the 31st October. At the start of the season the reindeer are found at higher altitudes, so you must be prepared to make that extra effort to get within range of them. The further the season progresses, the lower the reindeer come down to forage. The terrain

is very hilly and you must be prepared to hike between 10 and 20km per day at an altitude of up to 1,000m. You must also be able to bring the reindeer off the mountain again. As a large bull can weigh between 75 - 100 kg, this is the perfect hunt for any hunter who enjoys a real challenge!

WINTER HUNTS FOR MUSK OX

Experience a traditional hunt for musk ox in a fantastically beautiful district near Kangerlussuaq in western Greenland.

Musk ox hunts are very exciting, and here you can expect to shoot an animal that is 15% larger than those from other parts of Greenland. This is because of the plentiful vegetation and good feeding in the area surrounding Kangerlussuaq, which has seen an increase in the numbers of these animals over the last 40 years. The hunter is led by an experienced guide, with many years of experience

with the musk ox, the terrain and the conditions found in Greenland. Someone who can speak English will always be present.

The hunting camp is beautifully situated next to two large lakes, where you are welcome to fish for arctic char. The camp consists of cabins and can accommodate 4 - 6 hunters at a time.

Through decades of working together with the best state districts in Poland, we have built a rock-solid foundation on which to fulfil every hunters dream of hunting for nearly all European game species. Over the years the quality of these districts has been thoroughly tested by tens of thousands of hunters. Although there are never any guarantees in hunting, the quality of hunting and the high rates of success offered by our Polish districts, are rarely bettered in many other countries! Naturally, we also offer hunting in various, good, hunting association districts.

The Polish state districts are custodians of a rich hunting tradition, and through strict game management practices, ensure the quality of their game populations remains at the same, very high level, year after year. However, as is the case in many other European countries, Poland is

being challenged by factors such as African Swine Fever and a growing population of wolves. These are significant factors influencing hunting in many places, but our districts in Poland are working hard to minimise their effects.

The roebuck season in Poland opens on the 11th May and closes at the end of September. Most hunters prefer to hut at the opening of the season or a little later in May, however the intense experience of hunting roebuck during its rutting season in late July/early August also attracts many hunters. Poland’s fields, meadows and hedgerows provide good feeding for the roe deer, and the Polish race of reedier is amongst the biggest in Europe.

As the 9th largest country in Europe, Poland offers a wealth of hunting opportunities. It is not just the wide range of species on offer, the nature found in the many beautiful districts, with their lakes and forests, can enchant any hunter. For decades we have enjoyed a formidable partnership with many of the best hunting districts, especially those in the west of Poland, which are within a reasonable driving distance of many of our Scandinavian and European hunters.

Every year thousands of hunters make a pilgrimage to Poland to hunt. Here they find districts with healthy game populations and, thanks to professional game management, high quality trophies. After a partnership stretching back decades, we know that hunt organisation on the

state hunting districts is first rate, the staff well educated, experienced and responsible. Accommodation is of a high standard and the meals served have a reputation of being plentiful and tasty.

The varied Polish countryside provides habitats for a wealth of animal species. Traditionally it has been roe deer, red deer and wild boar that has drawn hunters to Poland, but recently hunting for fallow deer’s increased in popularity and mouflon hunts are also available. In Poland hunting is carried out following nature own premises, all hunting fences are banned and you will never find that large trophies have been “cultivated” by artificial means.

Rutting season hunts attract many hunters year after year, and regardless of wether you are looking for a really good trophy or simply want to experience the intense hunting, we have a district that will suit your needs. We can offer our clients the chance to hunt for the “king of the forest” on both fixed price packages and “price list” hunts.

Many hunter dream of a fully palmated fallow deer trophy. In recent years Poland has delivered some very good trophies of up to 3.5 - 4.0kg. That said the average trophy size here is 2.5 - 3.2 kg. Fallow deer populations in Poland are good, and we can offer access to some of the best state districts. Hunting during the rutting season is very intense and exciting, and one can often approach with 20 -30m of the deer.

Hind Stalking

Naturally the large Polish state district don’t only have to carefully manage trophy bearing animals, they also need to regulate the numbers of female animals and calves. Our hind stalking hunts are available at bargain prices and are therefore a popular autumn hunt for those looking for great value for money hunting for different game species. The hunt for female game animals, who are often more alert to danger than the males, is at least as challenging as trophy hunting.

Mouflon hunts:

Today Poland has a good population of mouflon, even though the growing population of wolves has made a dent in it. Stalking-up to with shooting range of a good mouflon ram is a hunting challenge that can be rewarded by one of Europe’s most handsome trophies. We have the possibility of offering a complete mouflon package on our districts in south west Poland in the period between 1st October and 28th February.

Combination hunts:

On some of our districts in the north west of Poland we offer our popular combination hunts during the months

of autumn and winter. These are arranged for small groups of between 5 - 7 hunters and normally last 3 days. Small-driven hunts are carried out in the mornings, until around noon, then after lunch hunting continues with stalking-/lying in wait with you own hunting guide. In north western Plans the wolf population is on the rise. This, along with African Swine Fever will mean one must expect the upcoming game parades to deviate a few degrees from their usual, high standards.

Driven Hunts

We still have districts that can offer our very popular driven hunts. Typically a driven hunt will be carried out over 3 hunting days for a group of 12 - 16 hunters. Generally speaking huntable game includes all wild boars plus the females and young of other game species. However one must be aware that the wild boar population is still trending downwards due to the outbreak of African Swine Fever. This has meant, and will mean in the future, the number of driven hunts available will be very limited. However our hunters can also consider driven hunts in other countries such as Croatia, Turkey and Slovakia where - at the time of writing - swine fever is not so widespread - or in the case of Turkey not present at all.

Hunters who enjoy hind stalking are more than welcome of the district’s, naturally they will enjoy a level of service identical to that given to trophy hunters. It is often possible to combine hind stalking with a trophy hunt for red stag.

AUSTRIA CHAMOIS HUNTING IN KÄRNTEN

The hunting district is in the incredibly beautiful district of Maltatal. This tour can also be warmly recommended as a family holiday. There is much you can experience here, and the surrounding are so distinctive that they leave a deep impression on most visitors.

Over the years we have arranged hunts for many of our clients on this district in Maltatal in Kärten. The experienced gamekeeper Ferdinand Kargl is in charge of the hunting here. Hunting for chamois is possible from the beginning of August until the end of December. During the summer the chamois stay up high in the mountains, which makes an extra demand on the hunter’s fitness. Towards the end of the season - from mid-November onwards - the chamois are at their best, in there shiny black winter coat and are usually found further down the valley.

We have been arranging hunts in Croatia for nearly 20 years, and together with our trusted partners we have carried out a major upgrade of the many, exciting hunts we can offer in this incredibly beautiful country. Most people know what a good tourist destination Croatia is, so if you are planning a holiday to Croatia, why not combine it with some hunting. .

During 2024 we can offer our hunters a vertitable cornucopia of exciting hunting in Croatia. From hunts for mouflon and chamois in the mountains overlooking the blue Adriatic Sea, to bear hunts in the dark, mountainous forests of Gorski Kotar, and hunts for red and fallow deer, wild goat and wild boar in the Velebit mountains. There are also some great opportunities to combine hunting for several different game species in the same district. We have also secured access to some of the best districts offering driven hunts for wild boar.

European Brown Bear

The population of brown bears in Croatia is growing year after year, and more licences are being made available to hunter annually. Success rates are high, and hunters

taking part in the hunt are likely to get a shot at a bear within 4 hunting days. Many of our hunters have returned home with a gold medal trophy (over 300 CIC points), so chances of success are really very good on our districts in Croatia. Hunting is done over bait from comfortable towers, and the guides are very skilled in estimating the size of the bears, so one should not need to worry about exceeding your trophy budget. In 2008 one of our hunter set a new national record with a bear of 511 CIC points, but in 2023 the national record is now over 580 CIC. We have licenses for bears of all sizes, but is you are looking for a really big bear we recommend booking early. The hunt takes place from late February/early April, when the bears first leave their dens, to the late October/early December, before they return to their dens again.

Driven Hunts

We can offer 2 and 3 day driven hunts on well-organised and thoroughly tested districts, where a group of hunters can usually expect to shoot 12 -25 wild boars per day. If the group can shoot well, even higher results can be achieved. Driven hunts can be charged according to a graduated fixed price list which includes the big tuskers. This allows hunter to have a good idea about how much they are likely to end up paying before the hunt takes place. The districts are large, so group size should be of a minimum of 15 guns. Some areas can produce fine game parades with groups of 12 hunters however. Driven hunting in Croatia is normally very good, in exciting terrain and at a reasonable price. And, if you are lucky enough to bag a big tusker, there are no additional supplements.

Mouflon and Chamois

Many hunters have already taken part in these exciting hunts along the beautiful Adriatic coast, and we have received many thrilling reports about this incredible hunting experience on which 3 out of 4 hunters also return home with a nice trophy. You need to be in good physical shape, and comfortable with at shooting at a target at

long range. The chances of a medal sized mouflon are good, and you can combine mouflon hunts with hunting for chamois. The chamois hunts also take place along the coast, but a little deeper in the mountains, where some of the best districts in Croatia are to be found. The change of a record sized chamois is really good in this district, but again you must be prepared to shoot from long range. It is possible to hunt mouflon and chamois in September and October, but in November and December they have developed their dark, thick winter coats and a nice beard. In this area we can offer a unique combi-hunt, where within a distance of 30km you can hunt for chamois, mouflon, bear and fallow deer during October and November. We also offer fixed-price chamois hunts.

Wild Goat and Wild Boar

An exciting combi-hunt on some islands off Zadar, which you can also combine with a holiday. While the hunting is best from January to March, it is possible to do all year round. See our fixed price package which includes a wild goat of up to 80cm and 3 nanny’s or wild boar of up to 50 kg. Rifles and night optics hire is available.

We are therefore happy to be able to offer hunting in a number of different locations in this beautiful country. France can also offer a wealth of other wonderful attractions which makes it an ideal destination for the rest of the family. Here you can combine top quality hunting for chamois, roebuck and red stags with French culture, gastronomy, wine and nature.

Over the last 10 seasons we have had a growing number of hunters list ore roebuck districts in France, and the results have been extremely satisfactory. Returning hunters have reported a dense population of old, mature bucks, good trophies, will organised hunting in very beautiful,

lush and varied terrain west of Toulouse. Every year many good medal-sized bucks are taken in the district, including a number of gold medal size.

The Pyrenees in the southern-most part of France does not just offer excellent mountain hunts for chamois, there is also the possibility of combing this hunt with hunting for red stags and mouflon. ENGLAND CLASSICAL HUNTING IN IDYLIC SURROUNDINGS

South England is renown for its large roebucks. This is largely due to the whole population of roe deer being outstanding because of the classic biotope they live in - large open fields, broken up by hedgerows and small woods - an ideal habitat for roe deer. At the same time the price levels here are very competitive, the cost of really top class trophies is often significantly lower than elsewhere in Europe. We can offer some particularly good roebuck hunts on a number of different districts in the south of England which, ever year, deliver many medal winning bucks, a large proportion being of the most precious metal.

England is home to large populations of both muntjac and Chinese Water Deer (CWD) which were originally introduced from the English colonies in Asia to a number of animals parks in England. Some animals managed to escape and the two species have since established themselves in the open countryside. Stag hunting in the Scottish Highlands

Have you ever shot a roaring stag, surrounded by its harem of hinds, on the top of a heather clad hill during the midst of an intense rut? If you haven’t , then there is a serious gap in your “hunting education” and you really owe yourself the chance to do something about - luckily we are here to help guide you! Hunting in Scotland is an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime!

Stag hunts in Scottish Highlands take place during the rut in September - October. It is difficult to describe the experience in words - you have to feel the experience in your own body. It isn’t going too far to say that a Scottish stag hunt is an absolute classic European hunt! Two hunter usually hunt together with one stalker - a local hunting guide who will know the district like the back of his own

hand. You will both take turns to shoot, which allows both hunters to share the whole experience. Another member of the hunting team will be the so-called ponyman, who is responsible for transporting the dead stag off the hill on horseback, or a four wheeled ATV to the like. Hunters should be aware that this hunt is not a trophy hunt as you may have experienced in Eastern Europe or the like. You are simply taking part in carrying out the district’s selective shooting policy. We can offer a number of good districts in the highlands of which some are more physically challenging than others, but on hunt in the highlands getting your stag is never an easy “walk in the park”. The hunting in Scotland is very professionally organise and the stalkers (hunting guides) extremely competent.

Roughshooting

Scotland has a long hunting tradition and can offer a broad range of different types of hunt. One of the most traditional is “rough shooting” or “walking -up” where the fun and camaraderie is the name of the game. You will hunt over beautiful countryside with varied terrain, the focus on hunting for different game species and not necessarily just the amount of game you shoot. If wind, weather and everything else goes to plan, as a rule you can expect between 8 - 11 head of game per hunter in a group of 4 - 6 hunters.

For something completely new, we have decided to revive the traditional Macnab Challenge in Scotland. We have entered into a new, exciting collaboration with an estate in the stunning Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire. First one fishes for salmon in the River Dee, then hunt for a red deer and shoot grouse in the highlands. Completing a Macnab is the ultimate challenge for a hunter in Scotland - one that really will put all your skills to the test.

The modern Macnab Challenge is to catch a salmon, shoot a brace of grouse and a highland deer between sunrise and sunset in one day. We can offer a complete package including staying in one of the estate properties, a professional fishing guide and fishing tackle, hunting guide and dog handlers, in fact everything you need to give you the best chance of success. In the south west of Ireland lies County Kerry, and here we can offer some particularly exciting hunting for both sika stage and wild goats. Sika stag hunts

The sika stag is hunted during the autumn’s rut over both heather clad highlands and the dense valley forests, so you will need to be in reasonably good condition. It often seems as if sika stags appear from nowhere then quickly disappear again, because of this local hunters often refer to them as “the black ghost”. The rutting season, which occurs in September/October, last longer than that of most deer species and offers the chance of experiencing some really intense hunting. Unlike our other species of large deer sika stags do not roar - they whistle. The grand old stags can only be found in the faint light of the dawn and again at dusk, just before darkness falls.

In the beautiful countryside of County Kerry we can offer fantastic hunting for both sika and wild goats. Hunters will

enjoy incredibly beautiful countryside, wild wild mountains and huge forests, in the south west corner of “the world’s more hospitable country”. Normally accommodation consists of staying in a self-catering cabin, alternatively you can choose to stay in a luxurious hotel in the town of Killorglin.

Our partner has some of the best hunting districts in the south west of Ireland, where you can also find one of the best populations of sika deer.

For our hunters several accommodation options are available. It is possible to stay with our partner’s own property in the guest wing which houses several rooms. Here you can book to stay either on a breakfast only or full-board basis.

You can also choose to stay in a cozy hotel or pub in the towns of Killorglin or Kilarney. These hotels are on the famous “Ring of Kerry” and Wild Atlantic Way” coastal routes. Many different outdoor activities are available in the area, such as visiting the beautiful Rossbeigh beach, walking in “The MacGillygiddy Reeks of Kerry” which are Ireland highest mountains, with 3 peaks of over 1,000m in altitude, as well as the chance to take a guided tour

to “The Skellig Islands” and “Valentia Island” which offer some great wildlife experiences. So there is plenty to do for any non-hunters in your party.

Alternatively you can stay in a self catering property located in the beautiful surrounding countryside. FINLAND HUNT FOR WHITETAIL DEER

Finland is the only country in Europe where it is possible to hunt whitetail deer in the open countryside. Therefore we are pleased to be able to offer our hunters the opportunity to hunt for this deer on a good district in the south of Finland , approx. 120km north of Helsinki. Our hunters stay in a 4-star hotel around a 15 min. drive from the hunting district.

The hunting district is found in a really beautiful part of southern Finland, approx. 120km northwest of Helsinki. The district consists of many areas of wetland, large parcels of forest and farmland. It is home mot only to a really good population of whitetail, but also moose and roe deer. Additionally a suitable number of partridges, pheasants and ducks are released here every year.

The hunting for whitetail deer is particularly good here, because there has been a no hunting for whitetail here for 3 years. This resulted in the population multiplying in size and a clearly noticeable improvement in trophy quality.

The hunt for whitetail is carried out as a lying in wait hunt,

with early morning and evening hunting sessions using highseats that have been strategically placed in good locations around the district.

One flies to Helsinki, from where the hunting district offers a transfer service from the airport. Alternatively you can hire a car at the airport and drive yourself to your accommodation. The drive from Helsinki airport to your hotel takes around 45 mins.

If you would prefer not to bring your own firearms on your flight, it is possible to hire a rifle on site. The weapons offered for hire are of a really good standard - they are rifles made by the Finnish arms manufacturer Sako.

It is not only the hunting, we have discovered, that plays a big part in your Argentinian experience. Big game hunting

Argentina is home to a wide range of hunt able big game species. Most of these are species that were introduced into the country more than a century ago. Hunters can find good populations of red deer, wild boar, axis deer, blackbuck, wild goat and water buffalo.

For European hunters is is perhaps the axis deer and blackbuck, preferably in combination with shooting some of the fast flying pigeons and doves, that are of most interest.

We can offer a varied program of both wing shooting and rifle hunting, and you can easily combine wing-shooting for pigeon and ducks with rifle hunting for big game - and even fishing. It is possible to tailor hunting tours to fit your individual wishes.

CANADA AND ALASKA THE NORTH AMERICAN WILDERNESS

North American has always been an almost legendary destination for hunters who love nature at its wildest. The harsh, inaccessible nature of the land has ensured that a large part of the country has never been densely populated outside of the larger towns. This is also why you can still find healthy populations of all native species.

Many outfitters hunt in the most inaccessible districts, as they prefer to avoid any hunting pressure from local hunters. This often involves using either horses or bush-aircraft to both reach the district and as transport during the hunt. There are practically no roads in the areas they hunt, which makes horses the most practical means of transport in these large areas of wilderness. However, if there is road access, pick-up trucks, 4x4s or ATVs will be used. In areas with a lot of lakes and rivers, boats are used for getting around. Snowmobiles will be used if the hunter takes place in winter conditions. The hunting method employed is very dependant on the terrain, the game targeted, and the season of the year.

The hunting method can be classical lying in wait for black bear or wolf, but more normally it will be carried out as “spot and stalk”. Winter hunts for puma and lynx is carried out using dogs. Hunting for large moose takes place during the rutting season, when you attempt to “call-up” the big bulls. It is possible to bring your own hunting rifle to Canada, you simply need to have a Canadian weapons-import permit, which is a declaration you make in the airport when you arrive in Canada. Diana will be happy to help with the preparation for this. Many hunters also offer hunter the possibility of hiring a rifle on site.

Most hunters do not pay any extra trophy fees. Between 20 and 100 hunters take part in our hunts, and on most forest district only one driven hunt is held annually.

Shooting is primarily for wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, roe deer- depending on the district.

We can arrange hunting for groups of up to 35 hunters, and we always stay in good hotels.
